Hello!
It's almost back to school time! Fa la la I am ready! We are back in the Texas heat because of SPORTS, and all children need to practice football and field hockey in 100 degree heat, right? Well I signed up for this parenting gig, so I have to see it through. My housekeeper and I co-parent, as my husband is usually away on travel.
Speaking of travel, my family and I just returned from the most epic trip to Spain.
I easily got used to a plethora of staff
We rented a villa north of Barcelona, near the Costa Brava.
We spent hours in this amazing infinity pool

Fortunately for my sports loving son, the villa had a soccer field. We had family vs. staff games.

Our friends had a villa less than two miles away. Every day we met in a different town 20- 30 minutes away......
We had three hour white wine fueled lunches.........
Then we swam for hours
I went on death defying sunrise hikes that were painful, terrifying and gorgeous.
And now I am back in Texas. Buying school books, taking kids to sports practices......
Getting back to school haircuts....
But I will always remain, in my heart of hearts, a
DAYDRINKER! My newest napkins may be purchased here
And my heart will remain in Spain, Day Drinking!
